You'll find this boutique hotel on the east coast in the hilltop town of Taormina. Expect personalised service and views out to the sea and of Mount Etna. The property is comprised of rooms, suites, apartments and villas – take your pick.
It's worth noting that sister hotel Hotel Villa Ducale is just over 10 minutes' away by car.

From November to March each year the hotel facilities such as the restaurant/breakfast, pool and garden are not available for the apartments and villas. But the reception remains open from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 until 17:00.

Dining
The breakfast buffet is a sight to behold, filled with fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon, local cheese and more – enjoy your choices out on the terrace. Come evening, feast on local fish, pasta, and Sicilian plates at the on-site restaurant while admiring the panoramic views.
Apartments and Villas are booked on a self-catering basis.

What we loved...

Elegance, refinement and stunning views all wrapped up in one beautiful package. In our view, this hotel has the best breakfast in Taormina – it's a feast of homemade local delicacies, and the panoramic views are breathtaking. The charming and passionate owners are hands-on, and their attention to detail is hard to beat. The cooking course is a must if you have the time.

Activities
With warm temperatures lasting as late as November, you can enjoy the pool throughout the year. Surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden and offering stunning sea views, it's the perfect place to relax with a book.

Taormina is full of fantastic places to visit, including Mount Etna, Syracuse, Giardini-Naxos, Piazza Armerina, as well as Catania market and its baroque centre. The Aeolian islands are excellent for a day trip (take a ferry from Milazzo), and the several Taormina beaches are a haven for tranquility and sunshine.

There is a complimentary shuttle from the hotel to the nearby private beach where guests can then purchase a ticket to use the beach club services. You'll also have access to the nearby health club and there are tennis courts 5 minutes away.

How to get there?

By road: from the A18 motorway take the Taormina exit. Once you reach the centre, turn left on Via Pirandello in front of the arch of “Porta Messina”, and drive down until number 81. Like most ancient towns, parking in Taormina is difficult, but there will be space in the hotel car park (approximately 20 € per day).
By train: nearest mainline station is Taormina-Giardini Naxos, approximately 15-minute drive away.

Nearest airport

Catania airport is a 50 minute drive from the hotel (66km).
Hourly INTERBUS coaches connect to Taormina bus terminal, 5 minutes walk from Villa Carlotta.
Airport taxi fares are approx. 100 euro per car for two people.
Transfers booked through the hotel are highly recommended.

  We was several times in Villa Carlotta and all experiences was fabulos. The rooms are large and really beautiful. From our room we had a gorgeous view on the see. But the best we enjoy the breakfast. The restaurant is on the roof, a beautiful view and the food very diversified and tasty. Last but not least the staff is very friendly and helpful.

  A stylish hotel with friendly and hearth warming staff. We really enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The interiors are beautifully styled, the rooms are awesome and the shower is the best thing ever: its huge!! they have a beautiful view on the garden and sea. The breakfast is served in a terrace with a nice view too and its delicious!

  Heaven on earth! I would like to give 10 stars!It was a birthday surprise for me, and this was the best, the most perfect birth day for me!I loved this villa with everything! I didnt want to leave itEverybody was so nice, the owner personally showed us inside, and we got an upgrade to a junior suite for free!The breakfast and a dinner were amazing!Everything at superlative!Highly recommend it! Mille grazie!

  Where to begin...The rooms are beautiful and incredibly comfortable. Little details are never missed.The breakfasts were fantastic and my goodness, what a view. Etna one side and the Mediterranean the other.The staff were next level, so helpful and always so friendly. We bumped into the hotel owner and his daughter who I think now helps to manage the place... what a lovely character.Should we return to Sicily (and I really hope we do) I will not stay anywhere but here. Magic!
