The Manor House is situated in the grounds of the magnificent Stanbrook Abbey in Callow End near Worcester, and is linked to the Great Hall of the Abbey by a private cloister. Available for exclusive rental only, this stunning Georgian building has been totally refurbished in keeping with the original features, making it perfect for a wedding party and even private wedding ceremonies. The ground floor includes a drawing room, an entertaining kitchen that leads out onto a private garden, papas snug and a parlour. Since 2014 there has been additional accommodation at Stanbrook Abbey, making it the premier venue for weddings in the UK.
Afternoon tea at the Abbey includes a historical tour of Stanbrook Abbey including the very grand Thompson Dining Hall, the arched cloisters, Pugin designed former chapel, former sacristy, The Grooms Room, St Annes Hall, The Boardroom, and Garden of Remembrance with views of the Bell Tower.
The kitchen at the Manor House allows guests to prepare their own food if they dont wish to be catered for by the Abbeys staff. Alternatively, packages are available such as exquisite Hampers or your own chef who can be brought to cook for you. Afternoon and Saturday tea at the Abbey is a must and includes a selection of loose Teapigs leaf tea, freshly brewed coffee, finger sandwiches, a selection of homemade cakes and fruit scones with clotted cream and jam, as well as a chocolate fondue with strawberries and homemade marshmallows.
