The Havannah is a new luxury villa retreat on the gorgeous sandy beaches of Vanuatu. This romantic retreat is perfect for a couples holiday, honeymoon or wedding with just 6 individual beach-facing bungalows, where you can relax by your private infinity plunge pool with a glass of bubbly and enjoy the ocean views. Dine out under the stars with fresh seafood always on the menu and enjoy a refreshing cocktail at the bar. You're sure to feel at home and relaxed with the friendly team of staff always at hand to help. Whether you want to get active, diving and skiing, learn more about the island and its history on a cultural tour or simply relax in the sun in peace, this luxurious island hideaway has it all.
Whether you want to relax on the beach and soak up the sun or you're the adventurous type, The Havannah has plenty to keep you occupied; the crystal-clear sea is perfect for snorkelling & scuba diving, catamaran sailing, big game & light tackle sports fishing, kayaking & rowing. If you want to go wildlife spotting, you can take a trip to see dolphins, whales, dugongs and turtles depending on the season - particularly amazing seen by helicopter. The area is also rich in history and your hosts can arrange tours of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Chief Roimata's Domain, while Port Vila was used as a base for the Americans during the Pacific War so you may find a few reminders on your explorations. Famous for its beauty, the island was used as the setting for US TV series Survivor Vanuatu Islands of Fire! If you are planning your wedding or honeymoon, The Havannah's team can create the perfect package to suit you with romantic dinners and treats and for weddings, musicians and dancers to make your day unforgettable.
Of course the highlight of The Havannah's gourmet menu is fresh seafood and head chef-owner Greg Pechan changes the menu each day depending on the local produce used. We recommend trying The Havannah Soufflé if it's on the menu. Guests can take dinner at the Point Restaurant, or have a table set out on the beach or the jetty. If you would rather stay at the bungalow, you can also have a romantic dinner for 2 on your pretty veranda. There is a good list of wines and champagnes to compliment your meal and for afters, enjoy a cocktail as you watch the glorious sun sets. A room service snack menu is also available and for breakfast, enjoy a hearty full English.
On 'Island Night', you are in for a real treat, with live performances from Ni-Vanuatu musicians and dancers and many of Vauatu's local speciality dishes such as kava, laplap, tuluk, banana masor, fresh coconuts & nuts, Tahitian fish salad and pig on a spit.
