    How to get there

From the North of Agadir (coastal road from Essaouira): from Agadir’s ring road, after “Metro”, turn to Marrakech by motorway (autoroute), « Amskroud » entrance (15km approx.).

From Marrakech, by the national road going to the Amskroud motorway entrance/exit :

You are at 45km from Taroudant by the national road. Road in good condition and nice, but it remains a Moroccan road with pedestrians, bicycles, sheep, goats and donkeys... and so many unexpected surprises... be cautious.
Allow 50 minutes to get to Taroudant.

A petrol station is open 24/24, at 6km from Amskroud.

Straight on until you get to the remparts (old walls) of Taroudant. When reaching Taroudant, in front of the city walls, turn left and driver around the city clockwise, without entering the old part of the city and always keeping as close as possible to the walls on your right until you reach the neighbourhood of Zraib and the Zraib pharmacy, on your left. When facing the Zraib pharmacy, take the street on the right and go straight through the neighbourhood, slowly as it is packed with children playing around... on exiting, you’ll have a vast and almost empty area to your right with great views to the High Atlas (by day light, obviously).

Keep going straight onto the dirt road, past a first way going down to the right (not very visible, though). You’ll have to turn right sharply and follow the dirt road with earth walls on both sides. Keep going alongside the walls to your right, we are the (4th and) only one aubergine-dark purple colour gate (just looking dark by night), on the right, with lights, intercom and copper plate on the left pilar.

This way is definitely not the best arranged part of the city yet, but it’s the quickest way. When reaching the pharmacy.

From the South of Agadir (Sidi Ifni, Tiznit...) : go to « Al Massira airport ». The express way going to the airport is very comfortable. Allow 10mn to get to the airport. Go straight on.

When leaving the airport, take right on the express way. A petrol station is open 24/24 just past the airport, on the right.

TIP: If you buy petrol, keep an eye on the meter make sure that it starts from “0” and that it shows the amount your asked for at the time of paying...

Taroudant is at 65km, at the end of the expressway, going East. Allow 55mn. You’ll drive past Oulad Teima and another 2 or 3 other small villages. The last 15km are on a regular national road.

From Ouarzazate : You’ll reach Taroudant by a large avenue. At the roundabout, past a number of banks on the right, take right. At the end of this street / road, take right (the city walls will be on your left, at about 150m, and a mosque + cemetery on your right).

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, the city walls will be on your left.

At the next roundabout, straight on up to the Zraib pharmacy 100m down the road.

You will have reached your destination.
