Located in Singapore's vibrant Chinatown, Naumi Liora is set across a row of converted 1920s townhouses designed by renowned architects Westerhour & Oman. This is a great spot if you’re after an authentic Singapore experience that doesn’t involve whizzing up a lift to the 40th floor of a gleaming sky scraper.
The outside of the building is charming – the dark orange facade detailed with ornate Chinese style wall carvings. The inside is more contemporary – modern art adorning the walls and a welcoming feel.
Staff at Naumi are friendly and have some great recommendations for good local restaurants.
There is a complimentary 24-hour snack and coffee bar in the reception serving a variety of drinks and small snacks.
There is no restaurant on site, but the hotel has a deal with the restaurant next door where you can get breakfast and there are numerous restaurants close by if you fancy something else.
Rooms do come up small here, the Quaint rooms particularly so and it's worth noting that these rooms also don’t have windows. We’d suggest opting for the slightly larger Heritage Doubles or, even the Deluxe rooms, most of which come with their own little terrace.
Located along Keong Saik Road, in the buzzing Chinatown district – there are numerous bars and restaurants a stone's throw from the hotel with plenty of public transport if you're keen to explore further afield.
How to get there
