Each of the 32 rooms are stylish and sleek, with crisp sheets and designer touches. As with many other hotels in the city, rooms are fairly cosy, so if you like your space, we recommend upgrading. Bathing facilities are in the room (rather than in a separate bathroom) so perhaps not the place to be sharing with someone you aren’t fully familiar with.
Hotel 1929 is housed in a charming row of old shop houses that have been tastefully converted into a retro style hotel. In fact, this boutique is all about style, with wonderful designer furniture on display throughout the lobby area and in the bedrooms.
With only 32 rooms, Hotel 1929 has a rather personable feel, helped along by the charming staff. You're well-located too, with plenty of the city's attractions nearby.
The hotel is located on the Keong Saik Road in the buzzing Chinatown district – there are numerous bars and restaurants close by, ideal for a late-night wander.
A good breakfast is served every day, or you can head out to one of the many nearby eateries for your morning fuel. The hotel’s own restaurant, Bistro November, serves up some great dishes for lunch and dinner.
