Within easy reach of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor, Anantara Angkor Resort is a 39 suite luxury hotel that reflects Cambodia's rich heritage through its stunning interiors and personal butler service. During your stay, you can explore the surrounding jungles, ancient temples and ruins or relax in privacy and luxury in your private suite.
Khmer cuisine is all about flavours, colours and aromas and these can be found in abundance in the dishes at Anantara Angkor. Chef Kien Wagner is passionate about Asian dishes and his flair shines through in the inventive, yet authentic menu. If Asian food isn't your thing, don't worry, as there are some international favourites on the menu. Chi Restaurant & Bar is the signature restaurant serving pan-Asian cuisine using fresh, organic produce, spices and herbs. Head to the bar before retreating to your suite for a night cap. Breakfast is available even to those early risers who want to explore at dawn. The L Lounge is an elegant dining experience where the menu is inspired by the daily market produce. International dishes and a modern take on traditional Khmer dishes are served against the backdrop of nightly dance and music performances. Dining by Design is ideal if you're after an intimate dining experience and is a lovely way to celebrate a special occasion; select your location and then choose your menu with the help of your own personal chef. After a dip in the pool have the Salt Bar conjure up a fresh smoothie or some gourmet bites.
All of the 39 suites at Anantara Angkor Resort have been decorated with rich Cambodian fabrics and furniture. In addition to WiFi and the usual amenities there are plenty of unexpected extras included in the rooms and whichever suite you stay in you can take advantage of the complimentary pickup and drop off from and to the airport.
To really explore the surrounding areas and delve into Cambodia's culture and the Khmer empire we suggest you stay at Anantara Angkor Resort for at least 5 days. Private tours of the local markets and dedicated tuk-tuk transport around the streets of Siem Reap are a great way to soak up the atmosphere. Venture out by bicycle, jeep, Vespa or horseback or survey the landscape and forests by helicopter or light plane. Stay on-site for a day and book some pampering at the spa or sign up to one of the traditional Khmer cooking classes. The Anantara Spa will soothe away any aches, pains or jet lag using western therapies and ancient eastern techniques. Bespoke elixirs, facials and healing massages can be taken in the spa or in your suite. Yoga sessions are taken either in the rooftop garden or courtyard.
