Why so chic?
Why travel experts chose this hotel
Only when you book with Chic
Set in a restored colonial building, Casa de Colón offers a real taste of Andalucían living. The hotel is located in the city centre, near the popular Santa Cruz district. With only a short walk to Seville Cathedral and not much further to the Alcázar Palace, you couldn’t be better placed for your stay in Seville.
From its rustic chic furnishings to its spacious rooms, this Chic Retreat knows how to spoil its visitors. To top it off, as a family-run establishment, the staff here are incredibly warm and hospitable, ensuring your every need is catered for.
A delicious continental breakfast is served in the mornings, and can be had in your room, in the living room or up on the roof terrace, should the weather allow (not included in room price). Tuck into fresh pastries, cheeses and local delicacies among other delights.
Sip on an evening tipple on the rooftop bar, which is open in the spring and summer. While there is no restaurant, you’re spoilt for choice nearby. Make sure to try La Mamarracha: an exquisite tapas bar just next door to the hotel.
Set around the internal courtyard, the 17 rooms have been individually designed to incorporate all of the quirks and features of the old building to charming effect; while some feature pretty stained-glass windows, others have original tile-work flooring. It's worth noting that the cheaper rooms can be lacking in windows, so those who like their natural light may wish to opt up. If you fancy a real treat, whilst compact in size, the Penthouse will bag you your own terrace – perfect for those pre-dinner drinks.
Trundling the city on ground-level is one thing, gazing over it’s rooftops from several stories high is another. Casa de Colón’s lovely rooftop terrace offers you just that: an opportunity to gaze out over the city as you tuck into your breakfast, or enjoy an evening tipple.
The lovely staff are also very to happy help with booking tickets and tours.
