A family-run operation, this 14-room hideaway is a rather romantic affair. Set in the thriving Andalucian countryside, the hotel is surrounded by rolling fields and olive groves, not to mention its own 5-acre gardens.
The hotel is housed in an 18th-century olive estate, and still produces its own golden oil to this day. Adding to the charm is the rustic chic décor, with plenty of dark wood furnishings, antique pieces and beamed ceilings.
A simple breakfast is served in the mornings and is included in most room rates (see detail below). Later in the day, sip on an aperitif at the poolside bar before heading into the restaurant for some delicious Mediterranean fare. With a dedication to using organic and seasonal produce from the hotel’s gardens and local market, the restaurant’s menu is often subject to change.
The 14 rooms and suites have been designed in the same style as the rest of the hotel, with traditional furnishings, warm-hued décor and antique pieces. Each is different from the last; expect anything from beamed ceilings and white drape curtains, to two-tiered suites and wooden shutters.
The seasonal outdoor pool is perfect for a refreshing dip, or stroll through the property’s expansive, postcard-perfect gardens. The staff are wonderful and can help organise anything from horse riding to cooking classes in the nearby area.
