Casa Privata is closed for refurbishment until 2016. A better view would be hard to find than the views enjoyed from boutique hotel Casa Privata or Ca' P'a as it is known by its regular guests. The sea on the Amalfi coast can be seen from every angle of this small and very private Chic Retreat and the gentle lapping of the waves against the rocks can be heard throughout the house. Casa Privata is a great place to come both during high and low season, with outdoor living enjoyed all year round. There are some steep steps at Casa Privata which guests learn to manage and even enjoy by the end of their stay!
The garden is an extension of Casa Privata. The famous Belgian landscape Architect Jacques Wirtz has designed 5000 square metres of open house space with fountains, roses and stone benches. Guests can enjoy a dip in the sea on the private seafront accessible by steps and relax on the lounge chairs which look straight out to sea. There are several levels with sun loungers, umbrellas, tables and chairs as well as a fresh water shower. The water is crystal clear and perfect for snorkelling. Plans for the garden include a seawater swimming pool.
Such is the style of this little gem, there are no restaurant services. This doesn't mean of course that anyone goes hungry at Casa Privata; breakfast is available 24 hours a day and plenty of fruit is always available. Herbs, spices, fruit and vegetables are grown on the estate and are used in the recipes every day. Most of the ingredients in the dishes at Casa Privata are grown organically in the gardens.
