Residenza Napoleone III is a luxurious two-room boutique inside the 16th-century Palazzo Ruspoli on Rome’s famed Via Condotti. With only two suites, a stay at Residenza Napoleone is more akin to being a guest in an aristocratic private residence, and in this regard you’ll be following in the footsteps of the Emperor Napoleon III himself, who lived in the Palazzo in 1830.
A breakfast of homemade cakes and jams is served in your suite daily, on silver Bvlgari tableware. There are numerous restaurants and eateries in the surrounding neighborhood, and the helpful concierge at Residenza Napoleone III will be more than happy to assist with recommendations and reservations.
There are only two suites available at Residenza Napoleone III, differing in style but not in elegance. The first, a traditionally decorated luxury apartment, is inspired by 19th-century and features original oil paintings, 16th-century tapestries and parquet floors. The newer suite is found at the very top of the Palazzo, and has a brighter, more contemporary décor, with selected antique furnishings and a large canopied bed draped with beautiful fabrics and silks; this suite has excellent views of the surrounding Roman rooftops and is the perfect Romantic nest for a couple.
Residenza Napoleone III is ideally located in the heart of historic Rome, and you’ll find the must-see landmarks all within walking distance, from the Castel Sant’Angelo that dominates the Tiber to the iconic Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. If the tourist crowds become overwhelming, escape to the beautiful Borghese Gardens.
Via Condotti is home to some of the most exclusive and well-known Italian fashion designers, and shoppers will definitely want to spend some time perusing the boutiques that line the street and the surrounding area.
