This is also the perfect place for bear watching and you can book a day with a guide where you may see bears, wild boars and other wild species as well as an impressive array of rare plants and the forests famous mineral and sulphur springs and caves. You can also take a tour of the estate by Land Rover, a carriage tour or travel by boat with tailor-made guided tours in the region to suit your interests. Guests can enjoy Transylvanian cuisine based on dishes from the family recipes of the old noble houses from across the region, sometimes with a contemporary edge, all served in the atmospheric dining room. Much of the ingredients are sourced from the kitchen garden and milk and meat are sourced from local farmers in Zabola village.
