Located in the Ibla, the ancient heart of the UNESCO-listed town of Ragusa in southern Italy, Locanda Don Serafino is a stunning boutique hotel with atmospheric rooms and an acclaimed restaurant. Managed by Ragusan legends, Antonio and Giuseppe La Rosa, the hotel features bedrooms in ancient caves hewn out of the rock face making for an extremely evocative stay.

The hotel restaurant is renowned as one of the finest not only in Ragusa but all of Sicily, with two Michelin stars, and a meal here will satisfy even the most demanding of foodies. Whether you spend your time exploring the winding streets of historic Ragusa, or diving into the cool blue waters at the hotel’s beach club, a short drive away, your stay at Locanda don Serafino will be one of relaxation and pleasure.

    Dining

Locanda Don Stefano is one of the finest restaurants in Sicily, earning two Michelin stars. Chef Vincenzo Candiano serves a seasonal menu of contemporary takes on classic Sicilian dishes, and for a particularly indulgent meal we recommend the degustation menu. The chef will personally discuss your individual taste preferences, and suggest suitable wines for pairing from the hotel’s over 1000 bottles. Meals are served in the beautifully refurbished stables of an old warehouse, with an outdoor patio for al fresco dining.
