Due to the age of the building, each of the 10 rooms offers something slightly different but all are well laid out (some split over two levels), elegantly furnished and the pricier include stunning original features like stone vaulted ceilings, frescos and mosaics.
Some rooms overlook the island’s narrow streets whereas others the inner courtyard but most are surprisingly quiet, considering the central location.

Why so chic?
Why travel experts chose this hotelConverted 19th-Century palaceExcellent LocationNear the BeachChic Treats
Only when you book with ChicTucked away up a little road on the island home to Gallipoli's old town, Palazzo Mosco Inn is somewhat of a hidden gem. Set in a converted 19th-century palace just a short walk from the island’s sights, this little boutique hotel is well placed to explore.
There is a lovely rooftop terrace with wonderful views out over the sea – perfect for pre-dinner drinks or a lazy afternoon in the sun. The staff here are fantastic – full of great local advice and unfailingly charming.
It's worth noting that there are a fair few stairs and no lift, so the hotel is probably not suited to those less mobile. The hotel is open seasonally from around mid-April to mid-October each year.
Dining
A good breakfast is served – out on a lovely terrace in fair weather.
There is no restaurant on site but plenty of great options nearby which the lovely staff will be happy to point you in the direction of.
