You’d be forgiven for thinking you’d stepped back in time as you enter the red and gold tinged foyer. There’s a rather nostalgic feel to a bygone era here; the original 1920s lift continues to transport guests to their rooms, while the elegant salon serves aperitifs each evening.
It doesn’t end there: service is also on theme, with polite, personal and very welcoming staff. To top it off, just a 10-minute walk will take you to the boat-laden seafront.
Each evening guests are served an aperitif in the rather decadent lounge ‒ a wonderful touch and potentially the only free drinks going anywhere in Cannes! There's no restaurant, but that’s not a problem with many great places close by.
In the mornings, a tasty continental breakfast is served.
Each bedroom is well-decorated, with categories ranging from Standard to Rotunda. Located in the hotel’s front circular section, the latter feature parquet flooring, high ceilings, and balconies.
Tucked back from the centre of Cannes on Carnot Boulevard, you’re well-placed to explore the city but also to retreat to nearby beaches. In fact, the sun-kissed shoreline is only a stone’s throw away, whether you prefer the white sand stretches of La Croisette or the buzz of the nearby harbour.
