Why so chic?

Only when you book with Chic
At only six bedrooms, the Rosa Et Al Townhouse is about as small as boutique accommodation gets. Design here is everything: it’s a perfectly renovated early 20th-century Porto building and every detail has been carefully thought through. From its chic, subtly retro aesthetic, to its winding staircase; we're sure you'll be wishing you lived somewhere just like it.
It's not all décor and style either; the lovely staff will happily go out of their way for you and you're in a fun, arty part of town. Due to both this Chic Retreat's size and popularity we would definitely recommend booking a while in advance.
You're unlikely to go hungry at the Rosa Et Al Townhouse: a good breakfast is served every day, as is afternoon tea and dinner (on request).
What we loved...
I fell in love with the faded charm of Porto and I'm sure that a big part of this was because of our stay Rosa Et Al Townhouse. Set up in the eaves, our room was glorious - big windows looking out to the street below, a free-standing bath in the bedroom and a little note and a chocolate on our pillows each night. Heavenly.

Each of the six rooms are spacious and well-equipped. It's worth knowing that the Suite has an open-plan bathroom, with a free-standing bath beneath the eaves and a trunk separating off the loo. Lovely if you don't mind letting go of a little privacy but opt for a Superior or Deluxe Suite if you prefer your bathroom separate.
There are some wonderful in-room spa treatments available including a full range of aromatherapy massages.
You're well-located here too: the Rua do Rosario is a vibrant, arty district in the centre of Porto, and is only a 15/20-minute walk from many of the main sights such as the Torre dos Clérigos and Porto Cathedral.
