A charmingly laid-back property on the beautiful island of Paros, Minois Village Hotel Suites & Spa has gorgeous sea views, an excellent restaurant, and a pampering wellness spa. Decked out in the traditional manner, the picturesque whitewashed buildings are light and airy. There’s a real barefoot chic vibe to Minois, from the habana-style outdoor restaurant to the sun-loungers beside the large saltwater swimming pool. We love the fact that there’s a separate children’s pool and play area, meaning that adults can enjoy peace and quiet by the larger pool.
Luxurious but relaxed, high-class but unfussy, Minois Village Hotel is the perfect getaway for those looking for deep blue skies, crystal-clear waters, and Greek hospitality.
Avli restaurant, with its minimalist interiors, is sure to impress with a menu of freshly made Mediterranean dishes and a seaside setting. The Breakfast Buffet is a highlight here, with a massive choice of succulent fruits, cakes, yoghurts, bread, pastries, jams and hot choices.
The Pool Bar opens from 8am right through until midnight and serves everything from iced tea, ice creams, cocktails and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. This is a great place to spend the day with friends and family in the sunshine or in the shade, over a drink or a light lunch.
The Deck Lounge Bar is the perfect place for enjoying the sunset. This is where you'll want to sit and talk through the night with friends and a few bottles of something cold!
There are plenty of room and suite options for couples and families at Minois. All of them are whitewashed, bright and airy and have either a terrace or a balcony. Some come with kitchenettes and all have free WiFi and their own fridge. Some rooms are close to the pool so if you want a bit more privacy and peace & quiet ask for a room away from the pool when booking.
‘Life is nothing but sleep, swim, eat and read,’ wrote Cecil Beaton, when the photographer visited Paros with Truman Capote, and that’s all you’ll really be doing at Minois Village Hotel. Doze off on the chic sun-loungers surrounding the pool, or treat yourself to a pampering massage at the hotel’s Thalassa spa. Enjoy the hammam followed by luxurious treatments making use of ingredients good enough to eat, such as chocolate or caviar. There’s also a fully-equipped gym for those of a more active disposition.
Those looking for a slice of authentic Greek magic won’t have to look far on Paros. Visit the Church of 100 Doors with its ancient silver icon of Mary, or take a trip across to neighbouring Antiparos, home to a majestic cave tattooed with the signatures of celebrities throughout the ages, including Lord Byron.
