If you’ve been to Paris a few times and fancy a new part of town to explore, then the sweet Hôtel Joyce is definitely worth considering. The Nouvelle Athènes district, with Montmartre just up the hill, offers a fun city experience.
Playful design means you’ll find a reception desk covered in tiny Eiffel Towers, plenty of Pixar lamps, twinkling lights and a breakfast room with a glass roof and luxury car furniture, recycled and repurposed as seats.
The staff here are charming and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. This is a great value boutique in downtown Paris.
Breakfast is served each morning (finishing later on the weekends) and there is a lounge where guests can help themselves to free soft drinks every afternoon.
Whilst the hotel does not have its own restaurant, there are plenty of great places to choose from nearby.
Rooms are thoroughly modern with fun, illustrated walls, delicate paintings and bright splashes of colour. A couple even boast the added treat of a small balcony.
Centrally located in Paris's upper 9th arrondissement, near the bustling So-Pi (South Pigalle) neighbourhood, many sights are within walking distance of the hotel, such as the Moulin Rouge (a 10-minute walk away), Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur (both a 20-minute walk away). The sweet little Musée Gustave Moreau is just around the corner and is well worth a visit.
