The White Hart Overton is possibly our favourite from the Upham Group of boutique inns due to the charming and quirky nature of the rooms with their faded bedspreads, velvet chairs, and antique furniture.
You'll find this charming pub with rooms in the village of Overton in Hampshire where it has been serving locals for over five centuries.
Having been recently restored, this quaint hideaway has 12 rooms full of character and a tantalizing seasonal menu matched by an extensive drinks list.
On a fine summers day, there is nothing better than enjoying a Pimms, cider or Upham Brewery ale on the sun trapped terrace at The White Hart. Should you feel a chill you can head into the snug or village bar.
The menu is a modern take on British dishes using only the best seasonal and local ingredients the kitchen can lay their hands on.
The dining room is full of character and has been fitted with reclaimed fittings and selected pieces of art. If you are a party of eight or more you may prefer to book the private dining room which seats up to 12 people or is perfect for a party of 25.
As you would expect from an Upham Group pub The White Hart has an extensive drinks menu including the award-winning Upham Ales, a house gin from Bombay Sapphire (the distillery is just down the road) and a selection of fine wines sourced by Berry Bros & Rudd.
A children's menu is available for lunch and dinner.
