The Assinatura Restaurant has stunning views across the pool and the hotel and serves a buffet every morning and a la carte dishes for lunch and dinner. Brisa do mar is the poolside restaurant and serves oven-baked pizzas and snacks whilst the Sea You Restaurant is open in the evenings only for a refined and romantic seafood experience.
There are 40 air-conditioned deluxe rooms and 10 suites at Diamonds Mequfi Beach Resort, each featuring a large sea-facing terrace with an outdoor shower. All of the rooms are en-suite and have either a four poster bed or two singles, with mosquito nets, decorated in a sleek contemporary style they are all incredibly spacious. The magnificent suites are located directly on the beach and have a separate living room and a larger terrace with two outdoor showers. The standard half board rate (full board available) ensures that guests don't need to worry about carrying money around during their stay. Room service and butler service are available at an additional charge, on request. The full board rate includes all meals, soft drinks, house wine, beer, in-room mini bar and snacks.
Water sport enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with the range of activities on offer available near the resort including windsurfing, sailing, stand-up paddle board, snorkelling, kayaking, deep sea fishing and kite surfing. Kitesurfing equipment is available to hire directly from the resort. Diving and whale watching along the Pemba coast can also be organised. It is worth spending a day relaxing on the unspoilt beach, soaking up the views, the sun and the sea air. For those wanting to work up a bit of a sweat we recommend the bike tour which takes you through some of Mozambiques most spectacular terrain. Do visit Ngoma Village- a local village nearby- where you can learn about the locals and they day-to-day lives. Pemba City is an obvious choice for day or morning trip where you can stop at the Bay of Pemba beach, shop or whale watch. The Mvua African Rain Spa is an oasis of calm for the mind and body. Using only plants, salt, local spices, flowers, wild honey and unprocessed sugar, the mixtures used for the treatments and therapies are literally good enought to eat! Diamonds Mequfi Beach Resort now has its own stable and horses which can be taken for a ride on the beach at an additional charge. Ifyou need a break from the little ones to go and enjoy the spa, child care can be arranged, meaning the whole family gets the chance to enjoy themselves.

How to get there
Diamonds Mequfi Beach Resort lies at about one hour drive from the international airport of Pemba, which is connected to South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania with 3 to 4 flights a week and daily flights to the capital city of Maputo.
