Maradiva's Spa is an award-winning holistic oasis; the ideal place to unwind. Influenced by Indian philosophy, it offers Western as well as eastern Indian therapies including Ayurvedic massages and treatments. The six treatment rooms include rooms for two, allowing couples to enjoy a treatment together. Wraps, aromatherapy, facials, massages and bespoke treatments are just some of the choices on offer.
The well-equipped fitness centre has the full range of state-of-the-art weight and cardio equipment for those wanting to keep up their fitness regime. Yoga, Meditation, Boxing, Aqua Gym and a Beach Boot Camp are daily activities that work wonders for muscle tone, fitness, and mental health.
The tennis court is floodlit to allow guests to play during the cooler hours and other sports include table tennis, badminton, and volleyball.
Water activities include deep sea fishing, boat cruises, scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins. To add to this selection, the hotel offers cooking classes and sight-seeing tours in the hotel's own Rolls-Royce Phantom; gaze at the beautiful views from the car, then enjoy a picnic prepared for you by the hotel's chef.
For younger guests, the Mini Club is the place to be, with a shallow pool, playground and sandpit to keep them entertained. Babysitting can be arranged, although 24 hours notice is required.
There are plenty of dining options to choose from at Maradiva.
The buffet breakfast is served in COAST2COAST which also serves international and Mauritian cuisine for lunch and dinner. Dine on the terrace or in one of the three restaurant lounges; the romantics might prefer dinner under a Raj tent under the moonlit sky on the sandy beach by the water's edge.
For light meals and drinks head to the Breakers Lounge Bar which has deep comfy sofas where you can chill-out and enjoy the stunning views of Le Morne.
Cilantro, a temple of romance and modern Indian cuisine, is the hotel's specialty restaurant which is open for a la carte dinner of mouth-watering Pan-Asian and Indian dishes bursting with flavour. The live cooking teppanyaki counter is a great centrepiece and creates a fun and buzzing atmosphere.
24-hour villa service is available to guests preferring to dine in their villa, including private BBQs.
