Situated in a peaceful spot directly in front of the majestic Sainte-Victoire Mountain in Provence, Hotel Sainte Victoire Vauvenargues offers a luxury getaway option. The 4-star boutique establishment has just 15 guest rooms and suites, and boasts premium service, state-of-the-art amenities, and unrestricted panoramic views. The interior spaces are filled with natural light and designed to provide optimal comfort; a contemporary vibe is created by the use of wood, metal and glass. On-site, there's an inviting pool, a stylish restaurant and first-rate business facilities, making it the ideal spot for both holidays and professional meetings.
Sainte Victoire’s stylish on-site restaurant specialises in flavour-packed Mediterranean, Asian and Brazilian plates. Using local and seasonal ingredients, the à la carte lunch and dinner menu features dishes such as green curry of bream cooked in coconut milk and pineapple and picanha steak served with farofa (breadcrumbs fried with banana and bacon). If you fancy sampling a mixture, go for the tasting menu. Enjoy your meal while seated at a table out on the canopied alfresco terrace.
The breakfast buffet includes cheese and cold cuts, as well as fresh fruit and homemade cakes. Or choose from the menu, where the likes of eggs to order and pancakes are on offer.
The 15 spacious and airy guest rooms and suites are modern and exceptionally comfortable, some with a balcony or terrace, others with a large window. Either way, you'll be able to admire the mountain vistas. Shades of blue, green and turquoise decorate the air-conditioned bedrooms, and all of the spaces feature a flat-screen TV, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, safe, and Blaise Mautin toiletries.
Note: there's a ground floor disabled access room, and there are a number of interconnecting rooms that are ideal for families.
The beautiful natural landscape that surrounds the hotel offers excellent horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding and climbing possibilities, and the valley that encircles the charming village of Vauvenargues is a great spot for hiking – there are over 250 kilometres of marked tracks and trails in the 'Grand Site Sainte-Victoire' area.
Wander just 350 metres and reach Château of Vauvenargues, a property once owned by Picasso, or take a trip to Marseille about an hour south of the hotel. But should you prefer to stay on-site, enjoy a dip in the outdoor pool, or recline on a sun lounger and admire the mountainous scenery.
