Dar Seven is an understatedly elegant 4-bedroom boutique hotel in the heart of Marrakech's Medina, offering a soothing decor and an excellent attentive service. Designed by the owner, Princess Letizia Ruspoli, with locally-based French interior designer Jérôme Vermelin, it was initially thought as the family's second home. Intimate yet comfortable, the stylish interior features details such as whitewashed walls and terracotta floors, complemented by Oriental prints and decorative sculpted pots. With only four bedrooms, it is perfect as an intimate getaway option, and is also available as an exclusive use for families or small groups of friends.
Lunch and dinner can be arranged by request. Using only locally sourced organic produce, the home-cooked meals are a delicious blend of French and Moroccan cuisine. A generous, homemade breakfast is served daily, either on the terrace or in the patio, featuring treats such as fresh fruit or delicious Moroccan crepes.
Dar Seven has 4 gorgeous en-suite bedrooms, decorated with quiet elegance with whitewashed walls, designer furnishings and beautiful objects d’art. Rooms have peaceful views into the hotel’s inner courtyard, and some feature their own private loggias. All bathrooms are equipped with bath-showers.
Gaze at the winding medieval streets of Marrakech’s medina from the hotel’s charming rooftop terrace, the perfect place to unwind with a glass of freshly-brewed mint tea. During the hot summer months, the peaceful loggia is the perfect place to curl up in the shade with a good book. For a night in with a difference, the hotel can arrange a live musical performance on the terrace, complete with belly-dancers and even snake-charmers.
Dar Seven is located in the northern end of the medina, a short taxi ride from the famed Jemaa el-Fnaa. The hotel team offers guided tours of the streets and souks; alternatively, they can provide a map and a list of their recommended stalls if you fancy exploring independently.
