The Lisboans is a set of 15 fully-serviced apartments located on a quiet residential street, between the cobbled romance of Alfama and the palatial grandeur of Baixa-Chiado. Housed within a former factory, the building has been updated so that behind the original facade is a contemporary minimalist décor with plenty of artistic touches highlighting the very best of Portugal past-and-present. The comfortable living rooms and well-equipped kitchens of the apartments will make you feel right at home, albeit with the added luxury of laundry and house-cleaning service that allows you to get on with enjoying buzzing Lisbon.
The Lisboans is child-friendly, and is perfect for families. The hotel is suitable for those with mobility issues.
You’ll have the use of a well-equipped kitchen in your private apartment, and The Lisboans team will be more than happy to stock it for your arrival (extra charges may apply). We particularly love the bags that will be filled with fresh bread and juice if you leave them hanging on your door overnight.
Prado Restaurant, owned by the same team behind The Lisboans, is just metres away and serves a menu featuring only seasonal and local produce that will delight serious gourmets.
The apartments are decorated in a chic, minimalist style that looks very contemporary. There are small Portuguese touches in every apartment, from antique bric-a-brac to fabrics hand-woven by Portuguese artists.
All apartments feature a comfortable lounge, perfect for curling up with a book after a day spent exploring.
The Lisboans have an ideal location, within walking distance of many of Lisbon’s cultural landmarks. Romantic Alfama is Portugal’s oldest neighborhood, and is full of winding, cobbled streets and characterful old buildings. Baixa-Chiado was rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1755 and is now home to wide avenues and palatial squares: Terreiro do Paço is particularly impressive.
