    Why so chic?

Why travel experts chose this hotel

    Chic Treats

Only when you book with Chic

Offering a private and luxurious home-away-from-home just outside Kandy Town, Theva Residency is a cool and contemporary 15-bedroom boutique hotel. With a focus on personal service and boasting breathtaking views over the mountains - this family-run Chic Retreat is the perfect spot from which to explore the buzzing and historical city nearby.

The striking, exterior (complete with sparkling pool) gives way to a sleek and modern design within, though nods to the local culture keep things firmly in line with the locale. Wall hangings, table centres and the avant-garde firewall bar are reminiscent of elements from the glorious and flamboyant Kandy Perahera festival (which takes place in August each year),  whilst traditional woods sit neatly alongside glass walls and polished light fittings.

    Dining

A whisper of a snack or a feast of a meal can be served throughout the day by the resident chef and his team, who have worked to create a menu that offers a fusion of both east and west and new and old. The open-air seating outside the dining hall is the perfect spot for an early drink, as the sun disappears behind the hills.
