Activities
The beach-style swimming pool is the perfect place for lazy lounging while soaking up the stunning views of the surrounding valley. Sequester yourself in one of the garden’s free-standing hammocks and spend a relaxing afternoon with a good book. The hotel offers a number of activities for those that want to immerse themselves in Italian culture, from helping out with harvesting the 550 fruit trees, to cooking classes, truffle hunting and wine tasting. Those of a more active disposition can enjoy horseback tours of the estate, mountain biking, or even dancing lessons with award-winning teachers.
The hotel is situated near the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, an area of outstanding natural beauty known for its thick beech woods and mountain valleys, perfect for bracing hikes. There are a number of historic villages and towns in the surrounding hills. Arpino, the birthplace of Cicero, is known for its gorgeous peach-coloured medieval buildings and ancient ruins, and is just a short drive from the hotel.
