At this boutique hotel/villa an organic modern living space has been moulded around ancient sandstone columns and thuya wood ceilings and then a mix of eclectic colorful lighting and furnishings has been added, mainly from the 1960's era. Dar Beida sleeps 8 and special attention has been made to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This Chic Retreat is built around a central courtyard and comprimises 4 storeys. On the ground level there is a library connecting to a chill out room with fire place. Out in the courtyard is a fountain and rest area with a blissfully comfortable hanging chair. Although Dar Beida is only rented as a whole guests can rent it for a minimum of three nights and it is ideal for friends or couples alike.
Each client at Dar Beida receives a pair of babouches [moroccan slippers] to wear in the house. Dar Beida is cleaned daily and traditional moroccan food can be cooked for you on request. There is a guardian who speaks fluent English and is happy to help out with any queries. Transfers to and from the airport to Dar Beida can also be arranged.
Dar Beida's kitchen has a concrete worktop with contemporary open shelving, displaying beautiful locally made dishware. A white archway leads into the dining room through which is the living room. This Chic Retreat is close to some good bakeries and fish and vegetable markets that are not too touristy. There is an excellent cook who, for approx £10 per person, will prepare a delicious meal in her home and bring it round whenever it suits you. When booking Dar Beida it is strongly recommended to request a meal to be prepared for your arrival. Tea, Coffee, Water and a Fruit Basket are provided on your arrival at Dar Beida.
