Nestled in Edinburgh’s beautiful Old Town, this unique city spot is far from your average boutique hotel. From vaulted ceilings and exposed brick walls to modern décor and 15th-century features, each of the 50 apartments is different from the last, but all have been designed with careful attention to detail.
You’re in a great part of the city at Old Town Chambers too, just a hop, skip and a jump away from most of the key sights. The staff are excellent and are more than happy to share their insiders tips, must-sees and favourite restaurants.
Travelling with a furry friend? This hotel allows dogs, providing them with their own blanket, bed and treats.
While there is no restaurant at the hotel, there are plenty of excellent eateries, pubs and cafés nearby. If you’re looking to self-cater, most rooms come with fully serviced kitchens.
No two of the 50 apartments are the same, with a mix of old period features - some of which date back to the 15th-century - to modern furnishings. Some rooms even come with sweeping city views.
Just back from the Royal Mile, you’re in a great spot for sightseeing here. The awe-inspiring Edinburgh Castle is within skipping distance, as is Holyrood Palace in the other direction.
If all that city-exploring isn’t tiring enough, there’s a gym at the hotel for guests to make use of.
