Nestled in the Edinburgh’s fashionable west end, this budget boutique hotel fits in rather nicely with its stylish surrounds. The smooth stone exterior belies elegant décor inside, complete with a cool grey hues, quirky photographs and sleek light fittings.
The Bothy Restaurant and Drinkery serves up some excellent Scottish classics and bistro favourites - best enjoyed with a dram of Scottish whisky in hand. In true British fashion, there is an indulgent afternoon tea served in the afternoons. A great breakfast is also served in the mornings.
Rooms are elegantly designed, with cool grey tones and wooden furnishings. Beds are kitted out with crisp sheets, and the modern bathrooms come with the added treat of designer toiletries and fluffy bathrobes. It’s worth noting that some of the cheaper options come up a little on the snug side, so if you’re big on space we’d recommend upgrading.
Located in Murrayfield, the hotel is a great launchpad for exploring Edinburgh. Catch a rugby match at the Murrayfield stadium or meet the city’s prized giant pandas, Tian Tian and Yang Guang, in Edinburgh Zoo. The city centre is also within easy reach, with plenty of transport links nearby to whiz you there in no time.
