The Oasi is a rather sweet little spot in a smart suburb on the outskirts of the historic town of Pula. Here, the charm is in the chintz: turndown service will have your towels transformed into swans and you can expect anything from velvet textures to gold-finished furnishings.
The service here is excellent, as is the on-site restaurant, so if you don’t mind a trek into town for sight-seeing (having a car helps) then the location is ideal – there’s even a little pool to cool off in in those warmer summer months.
A good breakfast is served and is included in most room rates (check detail below). The hotel restaurant is particularly good, serving plenty of wonderful Mediterranean dishes with an emphasis on seafood.
There are nine rooms at Oasi, all of which are comfortable and modern, with comfy beds and crisp bathrooms.
The hotel has a lovely little outdoor pool (open seasonally), but if it’s proper lengths you’re after we would recommend one of the many local beaches nearby. There’s also a full spa offering a range of massages and aromatherapy treatments, not to mention a sauna and jacuzzi. It's worth noting that it's definitely worth booking the spa ahead of time as it can fill up fast.
Having said that, the small town beach is only a 10-minute walk away and the marina 5-minutes further, so you'll find plenty to keep you busy. Pula itself is also a great place to explore, and home to one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world.
How to get there
The hotel is located outside of the city centre, so we recommend hiring a car to get here and around.
Pula Airport is a 20-minute drive from the hotel (9km)
