The boutique inn has a rather intriguing history; once a country farmhouse, the centuries-old building later became an Eton cramming school, before it took on the role as a charming country retreat.

A great breakfast is served in the mornings - a great way to fuel a day in the hills. When the hunger pangs kick back in, head to the hotel restaurant which serves a range of classic pub foods using local produce.
