Why travel experts chose this hotel
Only when you book with Chic
This stunning Georgian townhouse is a luxurious Chic Retreat in Cheltenham. Each of its 13 bedrooms has been individually designed and the dining and drawing rooms are beautifully fitted with antique furnishings. The courtyard garden is a lovely spot to relax with a glass of wine.
You can take No.38 The Park over exclusively for up to 26 people, or book an individual room for the night.
Known as a spa town, Cheltenham is the perfect place for a relaxing break. This Chic Retreat is also close to the racecourse and within walking distance of the shops, making it a great place to spend a weekend of celebrations with friends and family. Four-legged friends are also more than welcome at this Chic Retreat.
Our décor is about using the best materials and beautiful furnishings offering an understated, cool design as opposed to opulence. Here it’s about the independence of spirit – it’s a much more informal atmosphere and the staff are attentive without being in your face. It doesn’t matter who you are – whether you’re a film star or a businessman – you come here and you feel relaxed.

Sister property The Wheatsheaf Inn is a short drive from Cheltenham and is well worth a visit for lunch, dinner or a drink. The honeycomb pannacotta alone is worth the drive! Sit in the terraced gardens and soak up the tranquil atmosphere.
Fabrics and furniture have first and foremost been sourced from British suppliers and the attention to detail in each of the 13 rooms is as good as any luxury 5-star hotel; super king-size beds, exquisite bed linen, mohair throws and handmade products from 100 Acres, made using natural ingredients and essential oils. The mini-bar is stocked with treats from local producers, and Nespresso machines and Sky TV come as standard. If No.38 The Park is fully booked, try sister property, The Wheatsheaf Inn, just down the road in North Leach.
