Rooms are swish, with hip Scandinavian furnishings, crisp bed linens and fun design pieces. Bathrooms are spotless, and come with the added treat of luxe toiletries and fluffy bathrobes. It’s worth noting that some of the cheaper options do come up a little on the small side, so if you prefer room to stretch out we’d recommend upgrading.
Cool, sleek and fun - this arty design hotel in the heart of Copenhagen fits perfectly into the city’s hip aesthetic. From the clusters of black-framed photographs adorning the walls, to the odd bicycles set on plinths throughout (this is Copenhagen after all), the hotel is certainly not short of character.
It doesn’t end there either; much attention has been paid to the small details at this hotel, whether it’s the quirky light fittings or the bold potted plants dotted around. The staff are absolutely wonderful, and are always on hand to ensure you have a lovely stay.
After a day’s exploring, retreat to the hotel’s private cinema and work your way through their stash of films. Alternatively, join the locals and explore the city on two wheels - bikes are available to rent from the hotel. If that’s not enough to wear you out, there are also fitness facilities at the hotel.
As for exploring, you’d be hard-pressed to find a boutique hotel in Copenhagen with a more central location than Hotel SP34. Just a stroll away from Copenhagen Cathedral, you’re right in the midst of the action here, with the Tivoli Gardens and Round Tower also within walking distance.
With not one, but three restaurants to choose from at Hotel SP34, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dinner time. Nordic restaurant Väkst is decked out with a bevy of plants and contemporary furnishings, and is a great place to sample some local specialities. Meanwhile, Cocks and Cows dishes up a delicious range of burgers and American classics on the roof terrace. Finally, Din Nye Ven is a cosy café serving light bites and craft beers.
A great organic breakfast is served in the mornings - perfect fuel for a day’s exploring. The hotel also has a ‘Wine Hour’, where you can enjoy a complimentary glass on the house - the hotel even has its own homemade bottle which is well worth sampling.
