Housed in a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse in bohemian Kemptown, Blanch House was one of the first boutique hotels in Brighton. The 12-room property has quirky décor: expect anything from rich, warm fabrics to cool-toned wallpapers.
Service here is impeccable and it's what makes Blanch House such a special place. From the warmest of welcomes to the attentiveness of the staff, the team will have you feeling at home.
Please note that this is an adult-only hotel, and is only suitable for those over 14 years of age.
A varied breakfast menu is served in the Belle Epoque room, providing ample fuel for a day’s exploring. While there is no lunch or dinner available at the hotel, there are plenty of great options nearby, and the staff are more than happy to share their recommendations. For a pre-meal tipple, head to the on-site champagne and cocktail bar.
Each of the 12 bedrooms has been individually designed and named after its theme, with designer wallpapers, rich fabrics and no two the same. Bathrooms are compact and contemporary and come with bathrobes. Rooms are split into three different types, with each step up affording you a little more space. The Perrier Jouet room boasts original features and has its own little balcony.
Being so central, there's plenty to do on your doorstep. Located in Kemptown, a bohemian district of Brighton, you’re only a short walk from St George’s Road, where you’ll find a wealth of shops and restaurants. And Brighton’s sweeping seafront, popular beaches and The Lanes are also within a short walk.
