a stay in an exquisite little gem in Aix-en-Provence
La Maison d'Aix was once an elegant and private mansion belonging to priestess of love and well known antiques dealer Henriette Reboul. After 3 years of complete restoration and renovation Laura Juhen and Louis Mariotti have turned the mansion into an atmospheric and refined little boutique hotel in the heart of the Mazarin district in Aix-en-Provence. Architect Laura, appealed to the brilliance of joiners, cabinet makers and other local artisans to transform the building whilst preserving the magical world of Ms. Reboul. Every piece of wood or stone was made to order, from the Jerusalem stone floor in the winter garden, to the striking furniture and Corset chairs. Nothing at this chic retreat has been left to chance and the result is a stunning masterpiece.
