Nestled in the Alta Badia mountains in the UNESCO designated Italian Dolomites, Lagació Hotel Mountain Residence is a luxurious retreat with a cutting-edge contemporary design that is as environmentally-friendly as it is stylish. Owners Margareth and Pio Canin’s commitment to the extraordinary natural surroundings is clear from the moment you enter, with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows providing stunning mountain views, framed in walls built from sustainably sourced pine and larch. We particularly love the small fossils used as decoration throughout much of the hotel, creating a primordial link with the dramatic landscape. Fully dedicated to environmental sustainability, the hotel features solar energy, LED lights, and optimised thermal insulation throughout.
Each of the 24 apartments are spacious, stylish, and wonderfully comfortable, giving you the independence to enjoy the countryside of South Tyrol at your leisure, whether hitting the powdery slopes in winter, or hiking along verdant mountain trails in the summer. There are 24 apartments at Lagació Hotel Mountain Residence, varying in size, but all spacious with a fresh mountain style using Swiss pine, larch or spruce depending on which of the 3 floors you are located on. Interiors blend contemporary design with traditional Ladin features, while natural materials and a soft palette of woods, white linens and warm browns add to the sense of deep tranquility. The floor-to-ceiling windows open out to wonderful vistas and some of the apartments have romantic open fireplaces. We particularly love the taps that decant natural spring-water directly from the source.

Treat yourself with one of the massages, wellness and beauty treatments on offer, all of which make use of the finest natural products.
