This renovated 19th-century hideaway is as unique as it is elegant. Seamlessly blending the old and the new, the hotel’s modern décor sets a stylish backdrop for its ancient spa traditions, including thermal baths and hammams to pampering massage rituals.
It’s not all relaxing spa experiences at Aire Hotel: located in the centre of Almeria's Old Town, close to Almeria Cathedral and Puerta de Purchena Square, you couldn’t be better based to explore Spain’s historic city.
Restaurant Añorga, adjacent to the hotel, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner (closed Sunday & Monday evening). There are also plenty of gourmet eateries, tapas bars and evening haunts nearby.
With only 25 rooms, Aire Hotel is incredibly intimate and much attention has been paid to detail. Each room is decorated with modern furnishings and impressive murals of local spots, upholding the hotel’s style-savvy ambience. The Basic Double rooms are a little on the small side, so for those who prefer space to stretch out we would recommend opting for the more spacious Junior Suite. It is worth noting that the bathrooms are compact and fairly open-plan.
With pampering thermal baths, a spa and even wine baths, this is the perfect spot for a relaxing city break. Take a dip in the hammam-like indoor pools, unwind with an Arabian massage, or gaze over breathtaking views of the 10th-century Alcazaba de Almería from the rooftop pool.
Aside from its lavish spa and pools, Aire Hotel’s Old Town location makes the idyllic base for sightseeing. The friendly staff are well versed in the area, and are more than happy to recommend the best sights, restaurants and events.
