About this Chic Retreat

Dalya Life is a small luxury hotel in a gorgeous valley in Fethiye / Gocek. Situated along a stream and surrounded by groves of liquid amber trees, nature lovers will enjoy this tranquil hideaway. Only 10-minutes from Gocek, Dalya Life is also popular with yachters who have easy access to the bay. There are several beautiful beaches close by, or guests can relax by the swimming pool and take a swim in the clear waters of the stream. This family-run chic retreat has a warm & friendly atmosphere, with delicious traditional food, a riverside bar using ingredients from the garden and just 8 small villas, all with their own private garden and verandah.

Accommodation

There are 8 bijoux villas and, new for 2011, 3 suites at Dalya Life, each with a simple & traditional style incorporating paintings by the famous Turkish artist, Devrim Erbil. Each one has a bedroom with sitting area, an en-suite bathroom with shower and a small garden with a private verandah. All villas have complimentary bath products, with organic products for sale, bath & beach towels, traditional Turkish soft cotton bedding, air-conditioning, mini-bars and Satellite TV.  

Activities

Guests can enjoy a lazy day at Dalya Life, relaxing by the outdoor pool, swimming in the stream or reading out in the gardens. There are some great beaches nearby and some good fishing spots. Gocek is home to a world-class yachting bay and the area is great for island hopping and cruising. Guests can reach the gorgeous Twelve Islands by private charter, fishing boat or yacht. The ancient Lycian tombs are within easy reach, as is Iztuzu Beach which is still home to the endangered Loggerhead turtle. The Turquoise Coast is great for water sports including waterskiing and scuba-diving. Gocek Bay is also suitable for diving and courses are available in Fethiye, 25 km away. For golfing, the newest and closest golf course is Dalaman Hilton, 15 kms away and your hosts can arrange transport and fees. For a day in the city, Istanbul is only an hour away.  Complimentary shuttle to the centre is available from 2011.

Dining

Relaxation is the order of the day and Dalya Life provide a leisurely breakfast service with no time limit. Take breakfast in-room, on your private verandah, on the communal terrace or out in the garden under the century-old liquid amber trees where a beautiful spread will be laid out for you of cheeses, honey, organic olives and olive oil, homemade jams and pastries, eggs from the Dalya Life chickens and freshly-picked peppers and tomatoes from the fields. Gul, the owner-chef, provides the excellent meals, all made from fresh, locally-farmed produce and vegetables from their own garden. The dinner menu changes each day with a variety of traditional dishes and vegetarians are well catered for. Enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail at the riverside bar.

Rates

Rates at Dalya Life are per room per night and include breakfast and all taxes. Transport is charged extra and car / boat rentals, water sports etc. can be arranged. Extra 3rd beds for those over 12 years are charged at 50% of the rate per person, although they do not recommend sleeping 3 adults to a room due to space. Extra beds / baby cots for children aged 0-12 are free of charge.

Cancellations made up to 14 days prior to arrival will not be charged a fee. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to arrival will be charged the first night's stay. No shows will be charged 50% of the total price.
