About this Chic Retreat
Nebesa (meaning 'heaven') in the Soca Valley, west Slovenia has been designed specifically with couples in mind. Sitting majestically on a plateau on the top of the mountain surrounded by breathtaking scenery and stunning views guests will love the privacy, tranquillity and proximity to nature. Katja and Bojan, owners of this chic retreat stumbled upon the location by chance whilst hiking one day and haven't looked back since. This chic retreat is a destination in itself and a stay here will refresh all of the senses... and the more nights you book, the cheaper it is! Nebesa is the kind of place we imagine Bjork would have stayed when she wrote 'It's Oh so quiet' as the silence is wonderfully deafening.
Accommodation
The 4 wooden houses at Nebesa, each sleep just 2 adults and are fully-equipped with everything you may need during your stay. The glass-walled main building has a dining room and wellness centre and everywhere you go the views follow you..just like those paintings where the eyes follow you around the room. There is also a communcal kitchen and sitting area with fireplace, and an outdoor terrace.
Activities

"We'd seen photos of the Soca Valley, and read reviews about the chic mountain retreat called Nebesa. But nothing prepared us for the staggering Alpine beauty of the region - flower-filled meadows, crystal-clear rivers and lakes - nor the views from Nebesa's chalets; snow-capped mountains to the east, endless valleys to the west, trailing down to the Adriatic. Four glass-fronted chalets are the base from which to soak up these views. From our terrace, we watched a storm come in, then get chased away by glorious sunshine. We hiked up the mountain one day and white-water rafted down the turquoise Soca the next. The X factor at Nebesa isn't the luxuriousness of the hotel - it's actually fairly simple. What makes it so special is the setting and the isolation: it's a perfect place to hole up with a partner."
Dining
There’s no restaurant at Nebesa though breakfast and snacks are supplied and you can help yourself to wine, beer, cheeses etc which is all included in the price. As the houses are self-catering you will need to stock up on your way here or during your stay. The nearest restaurant is 15 minutes away Hisa Franko, one of the best restaurants in Slovenia.
Rates
Rates at Nebesa are per house per night, tax of EUR 1 per person per night is extra. Children under 16 are not accepted.

Cancellation policy
- 20% or the least amount of EUR 100 deposit is charged upon booking.
- Balance is to be paid to Nebesa at time of stay by credit card or cash.
- The deposit is charged in case of cancellation in more than 90 days before arrival.
- In case of no show or early departure 100% of total is charged

- Transfers from Ljubljana cost EUR 100, but car rental is advisable
