Novecento Boutique Hotel exudes an exotic and evocative atmosphere. The interiors have an Orientalist theme and the owners passion for beautiful materials is evident from the tapestries, rugs and furniture that enhance the exotic flavours of the rooms. This hotel's interiors are inspired by the fashionista Mariano Fortuny, whose style is imprinted on an eclectic mix of oriental and ethnic furnishings. The Romanelli family, hoteliers in Venice for generations, have perfected the art of running a small boutique hotel ensuring that their guests fall under their magic spell. Be seduced by polished wood floors, log fires and treasures from all over the world.
The relaxing and cosy sitting room has an 'honesty bar' where guests can help themselves to a drink at any time of day. A gym and hammam is availble to guests at Novecento's sister property Hotel Flora. Work out alone or with the assistance of a personal trainer in the Flora Fit Club hi-tech gym, which also has a Gyrotonic Expansion System.
During the Summer months breakfast is served in the little garden courtyard. Osteria di Santa Marina serves traditional Venetian seafood and is highly rated. The owner Gioele is more than happy to recommend his favourites.
Antiques from the Mediterranean and original furniture from the Far East give each of the 9 en-suite rooms their own character. The rooms are all different; one has an Eastern feel, another has a wrought iron four-poster bed or go for the room with the low wooden Thai bed. The bathrooms are consisent throughout and by contrast have Philippe Starck fittings.
