About this Chic Retreat

Bauer Palladio Hotel & Spa is the newest spa boutique hotel in Venice, situated on the banks of Giudecca Island with spectacular views over the lagoon and St. Marks. This former 18th-century convent was built by Andrea Palladio and has been thoughtfully renovated to create a romantic luxury hotel with an elegant, traditional Venetian style. In contrast, the holistic wellness spa has a contemporary design, with calming interiors in lavenders and pastel greens. The elegant exterior looks out to the waters at the front, and to the rear, opens onto a garden courtyard where guests can enjoy a treat from the café, bar and restaurant. Accommodation

There are 37 rooms & 13 suites at Bauer Palladio Hotel, with warm, traditional interiors in a grand Venetian style. Each room has been individually decorated with an array of fine tapestries, antique furniture, upholstered armchairs and a palette of pastels or warm reds and pinks depending on the theme. The Italian marble en-suite bathrooms have baths with showers, many also have walk-in showers and some of the suites have Jacuzzi bathtubs. Some of the rooms also have small private balconies while most offer views over the lagoon or the gardens. All rooms have queen-size or twin beds, air-conditioning, Satellite TVs, mini-bars, iPod docking stations, WiFi, hairdryers, towels, bathrobes, slippers and all-natural Santa Maria degli Angeli bath products.

Activities

The stylish Bauer Palladio Spa offers a range of treatments and massages using modern spa technologies and natural products and has a king-size Turkish hammam, double Jacuzzi and Vitalis Multi-Bath System. There are 8 treatment rooms and guests can relax after a treatment in the chill-out area which overlooks St. Marks. After a relaxing treatment, take the complimentary electro-solar powered shuttle boat (in keeping with the eco-friendly ethos of the hotel) across the Grand Canal and spend the day shopping and exploring or simply sit back in a café and watch the world go by. The 24-hour concierge are happy to arrange boat tours, walking tours, theatre tickets, restaurant bookings and transfers.

Dining

Guests can enjoy a Continental buffet and a la carte breakfast in the pretty Sala Palladio or out in the garden, snacks and drinks at any time in the café from Monday to Wednesday and from Thursday to Sunday, a wonderful menu of Mediterranean cuisine and grilled seasonal dishes.

Rates

Rates at Bauer Palladio Hotel and Spa are per room per night and include continental breakfast, service and all taxes. Children stay free of charge from 0 to 12 years old. From 13 to 17 years old a daily supplement of EUR 125 is charged. There are no extra beds in rooms or suites for adults, but a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children can be accommodated in some suites.
