Flamboyant Boutique Hotel is perfect for a romantic holiday or family trip and guests can choose from one of the charming rooms or honeymoon suites or rent the entire property exclusively, which sleeps up to 20 guests. Accommodation

There are 8 gorgeous en-suite rooms & 2 honeymoon suites at Flamboyant Boutique Hotel. Simple colour schemes of turquoise and greens or warm orange and gold enhance the fresh white-on-white design of these stylish rooms & suites, with crisp white linens on the cushion-strewn king-size beds and wooden furnishing throughout. All rooms open onto the swimming pool and most have views to the ocean. The en-suite bathrooms have showers, while in the honeymoon suites, Jackie has a shower and separate bath tub and Mathai has a double shower. Luxury bio bath products made in Kenya are provided as are bath & beach towels and each room has air-conditioning. The Honeymoon Suites have the addition of cosy ocean-view lounges, perfect for cosying up with your loved one. Your hosts know those little details are important and you will find fresh flowers in your room each day as well as dried fruits & chocolates each evening and complimentary Kenyan tea & coffee.

Activities

Diani beach offers the ultimate in relaxation, with beautiful stretches of sandy beach for a day reading in the sun, or for the adventurous, a whole range of watersports can be arranged by Flamboyant Boutique Hotel. The crystal clear waters are great for diving or deep sea fishing and there is a diving centre nearby, while if you prefer to play on land, there is an 18-hole course for golf enthusiasts and tennis courts, squash courts and pool on site. For a day exploring the areas flora & fauna, pay a visit to the Shimba Hills Game Park, with its rich forests and home to the spectacular Sheldrick Falls which cascade down 25 metres. If you are lucky you may spot a rare sable antelope while there are a variety of bird species on the reserve. Another great day trip can be enjoyed at, Wasini Island with a wonderful array of coral & brightly coloured fish to be found when snorkelling and a good place for spotting dolphins & turtles. After the days activities (or inactivity) meet with new friends in the welcoming beach bar for a cocktail as the sun goes down, or relax with an in-room spa treatment.

Dining

You'd be hard pushed to find a more romantic place to dine than Ali Barbour's Cave Restaurant, set inside an ancient coral cove and lit by warm candlelight. The a la carte dinner menu specialises in seafood, international & traditional cuisine and is accompanied by a great wine-list so take your time over dinner. Lunch & dinner may also be taken at the Forty Thieves Beach Bar and on some nights, buffet dinners or barbeques are arranged. For breakfast, enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and juices, yoghurt, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausages or help yourself to the buffet.

Rates

Rates at Flamboyant Boutique Hotel are per room per night. Children under 5 stay for free. Single rates are also available on request. Guests receive a complimentary drink on arrival and a room upgrade upon availability. All inclusive rates include 3 meals a day plus house wines, beers & soft drinks (top shelf charged separately). A Christmas supplement of 20% applies from Dec 21 - Jan 5 including Xmas Eve and New Year's Eve dinner with sparkling wine, lobster and other delicacies. Transfers from Ukunda are complimentary. Transfers from Mombasa Airport / Island are EUR 40-60 for 4 people max plus luggage.

A 100% deposit is required to confirm the booking 1 month prior to arrival. 30 days – 20% of the total amount will be retained. Less than 1 months notice – 50% of the total amount will be retained. NO refund will be given on cancellations or no shows of 5 days or less.
