There were no expenses spared in the decorating of the boutique hotel's 4 guestrooms. Generously proportioned, they are individually styled with a fresh, contemporary flair. All have flat screen televisions, luxurious linens and air conditioning as standard.

Cortona is decadent and romantic, perfect for those who like their Matteus Thun bathtubs in the bedroom and their beds king-sized and utterly luxurious. Its white-on-white interior (Frette linens, Philippe Starck sanitary ware) is brightened by bold paintings and potted plants.

Montepulciano boasts one of the best views in this boutique hotel, thanks to its four shuttered windows. Its bedroom is not as big as the other rooms, but the bathroom more than compensates, boasting a double-sized open rain shower, Philippe Starck bathtub and a marble sink.

La Fratta can be interconnected to Cortona (making a great two-bedroom suite for families). It has a 42-inch flat screen television, ambient lighting, walk-in rain shower and Persian blinds at the windows.

Amarosa is large and airy with high, beamed ceilings; it enjoys a lovely breeze in the evenings. From the Gervasoni armchair to the travertine stone floor, this room is utterly chic.
