About this Chic Retreat

The owners of La Bandita, one of Tuscany's newer boutique hotels, fell in love with Italy a long time ago and had their honeymoon in neighbouring Umbria. In the words of the owner John 'I wanted a beautiful, comfortable retreat, with a modern look and a relaxed atmosphere, where my friends, and friends of friends from all over the world could come to relax, cook big dinners, and enjoy Tuscany.' John and Ondine together have designed La Bandita as a chic, laid back b & b and also as a villa rental. La Bandita sleeps 16 adults comfortably as well as several small children (cots and chairs provided at no extra cost!).

Accommodation

For those looking to hire La Bandita exclusively, they are in for a pleasant surprise. La Bandita comes with daily maid service, daily breakfast, access to John's private wine cellar, WIFI, satellite TV, handheld GPS devices, mountain bikes, personal laundry and a private chef should one be required!! All rooms at La Bandita are en-suite and have air-conditioning. The deluxe rooms have stand alone, in-room bathtubs and there is also a Hammam for all guests to use. The Pig Sty Suite is a stand alone building on the property with its own kitchen and private pergola and is great for a couple and a small child.

Activities

Chill out by the pool and admire the views with a glass of wine! Alternatively La Bandita offers the perfect base from which to explore the stunning Val d'Orcia and the hill towns of southern Tuscany and around Siena. The striking ancient clay hills of the crete senesi and perfectly preserved medieval and Renaissance hills towns, abbeys and castles characterise this part of southern Tuscany where life continues much the same as it has for centuries.

Dining

Family-style dinner is served a couple of nights a week and for other evenings there are plenty of restaurants a short drive away. John and Ondine have eaten in all of them and so can recommend and book the one that best suits you.
