Albergo Villa Casanova is a new luxury boutique hotel which is the stunning result of a total transformation of an 18th-century Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by 360 acres of woodland just 10 minutes from Lucca. Elegant and relaxed this small, yet beautiful boutique hotel boasts 14 large suites, beautiful views, infinity pool and tennis court. There is also a restaurant serving delicious Tuscan food using only local and seasonal ingredients.

Accommodation

Albergo Villa Casanova has 14 magnificent air-conditioned suites each with their own separate sitting room, large bedrooms and opulent en-suite bathrooms. The large suites are between 55-60 sqm each taking up a corner of the villa. Try and book one of the suites with a private balcony or terrace (there are 8) as it is lovely enjoying an aperitivo in the privacy of your room before heading down for dinner. Contemporary touches blend effortlessly with traditional style making your stay here pretty close to perfection! There are 2 ground floor suites that have disabled bathrooms fitted.

Activities

Enjoy the views across the valley of Lucca, home to Puccini. The surrounding countryside is perfect for cycling, walking and exploring. With a tennis court and infinity pool on hand relaxing 'at home' may be more appealing on the warmer days. Many festivals take place in Lucca throughout the year including the Puccini Festival in the open-air theatre at Torre del Lago, a few miles from the hotel.

Spa treatments are massages, facials, pedicures and manicures can be organised by prior arrangement.

Dining

The emphasis at Albergo Villa Casanova is on local, seasonal food throughout the year including delicious home produced olive oil. Guests can dine in the gardens on the terrace or in the dining room.

Cancellation policy

All deposits are non-refundable. For full rate suites, all cancellations must be received at least 30 days prior to the date of arrival. Cancellations from 30 days to 15 days before arrival the hotel will charge 50% of the total accommodation cost. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival the full rate of the suite for the entire stay will be charged. All promotional rates are non-refundable and non-changeable. In the event of cancellation where only a deposit has been paid we will debit the card provided with the balance of the entire stay or any due amounts.
