Vigilius Mountain Resort is Italy's top spa hotel. Right from it's inception there was an ecological strategy in place to integrate the building naturally with the surrounding environment. Wood, glass and materials made from renewable resources were predominantly used to create this magnificent eco-friendly structure. This luxury spa hotel sits 1500 metres high in the South Tyrolean mountains with access by cable car only. The lack of cars ensures total tranquillity and an unavoidable and refreshing escape from the weariness of everyday life. There are no rules to follow, come here to be revitalised, energised & pampered. Vigilius Mountain Resort is one of the few luxury spa hotels where there is no judgement..you can just be you and let yourself go.

Accommodation

Clean, sharp design flows through the bedrooms, all of which have beautiful views through the larches and across the mountains. Soft stone, glass and wood blend beautifully giving a contemporary design with a luxury feel.

Activities

Cosy log fires in the lounge, relaxing music in the library encourage guests to relax in between invigorating walks & treatments. The views at Vigilius Mountain Resort are breathtaking and with the pure fresh air it is an exhilirating experience to stay here and absorb the beauty of the surrounding mountains & valleys. The infinity pool has views across the South Tyrolean mountains and there is the choice of an indoor and outdoor whirlpool. The spa menu is endless and treats the mind, body & soul; Shiatsu and Reflexology are some of the standard treatments. Those looking for something a little more unusual can enjoy a Hay Bath, excellent for relieving tension and improving circulation or Apple Polenta Peeling which uses a vigilius mountain spa recipe. Facials, Algae body wraps, body scrubs and indulgence packages are available for both men and women. There is an extraordinary choice of treatments to suit every state of mind.

Hunger creeps up on you at Vigilius Mountain Resort. The restaurant is spacious and light and serves delicately & freshly prepared food with fragrant aromas that make your mouth water with a wine list to match.

Rates

Rates at Vigilius Mountain Resort are per room per night including breakfast, parking and the move & explore activity programme which includes archery, MTB and snowshoeing and much more. Use of chairlift and ski lifts at Vigiljoch are also included. Baby beds for 0-3 year olds cost EUR 25-35 and extra beds cost EUR 70-80. Dogs are EUR 18 per day. Minimum stay of 7 nights between 21.12.2010 - 6.1.2012. The Vigilius Mountain Resort is closed between 21 - 31 March 2011. Minimum stay of 3 nights during the high season.

Cancellations made up to 4 weeks prior to arrival will not be charged. After that day, a charge of 80% of the total booking will be made, with the same applying to delayed arrival or early departure. No shows will be charged 100% of the booking.

Distance from Airport: 1.5 hours.
Additional Info: Taxi transfers from the airports cost around 195 Euro from Verona, 185 Euro from Innsbruck, 40 Euro from Bolzano, always one way.
