About this Chic Retreat
Chalet Cygnet is a small luxury chalet hotel, 5 minutes from the village of Nendaz and part of the Verbier ski area one of the famous 4 Valleys regions of the Swiss Alps. This 4-room chalet is available for individual or exclusive rental, sleeping up to 8 guests and Corina and David offer personalized service to all guests with their activities and lifestyle company - Alpine Comfort. Come for the skiing, the fresh mountain air, delicious food and a stylish, warm atmosphere where traditional interiors meet modern comfort. Groups of friends, families, couples or individual travellers are all welcome, and you will feel perfectly at home in this mountain hideaway. With 100 ski lifts and 400 km of ski runs in the 4 Valleys, those here for skiing or snowboarding will be spoilt for choice, while the stunning alps offer much more in both winter and summer.
Accommodation
There are 4 bedrooms in Chalet Cygnet. Each has a simple alpine style, with pine wood walls and furnishings and crisp white linens on the king-size beds, 2 of which can be divided into twins. Guests share use of the living room which has a flat screen TV with English channels & DVD player and board games and WiFi is available throughout. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have private bathrooms with either bath or shower, and the 2 downstairs share a bathroom with shower, all with fluffy towels, bathrobes, hairdryers and Molton Brown bath products. The downstairs rooms can also be booked as a family suite.
Activities
Guests can enjoy a personal chauffeur service, perfect for visits to nearby Nendaz which has some lovely restaurants, cafes and shops or for skiing, to the Nendaz and Veysonnaz lift stations or the Mont Fort gondola which leads to the Verbier ski area. In winter, guests can also enjoy snow shoeing, cross-country skiing and dog-sledding and children are well catered for, with the Tracouet ski site great for those trying it out for the first time. The Mont Fort and Burton Progression Park are open for freestyle skiing and snowboarding. In summer, explore the hills and mountains by mountain bike, discover over 250 km of walking and hiking trails or take a guided tour up to Rosablanche where you can enjoy the spectacular views. For a day out, visit the Lake of Geneva and Montreux, the latter famous for its jazz, or spend the day exploring the capital of Canton, Sion. Golf enthusiasts can try out the 18-hole Golf Club de Sion in the Rhone Valley. At the chalet, guests can enjoy an evening in with friends, new and old, with a wine from the well-chosen wine cabinet and a board game, or sit out on the sun terrace and enjoy the mountain views. From summer, Chalet Cygnet will also have a luxurious hot tub.
Dining
In winter, all rates are full board and the day starts with a generous mountain breakfast of freshly baked breads, cereals and homemade Swiss Birchermuesli, porridge, yoghurts, fresh fruit and a selection of cooked options - all served in the pretty dining area. After a day on the slopes, come back to an afternoon tea of freshly-baked cakes, bread, jams & honey and enjoy a 4-course dinner including a wonderful selection of local cheeses and some great wines. Children have their own menu and any particular needs or wishes will be catered for. The mini-bar has wines, beer, soft drinks and snacks available at a small charge. There is also a good wine list and several aperitifs or digestives available. In summer, choose between the catered option with all of the above and a 3-course dinner or the bed & breakfast option with dinner available on a request basis. Your hosts are happy to make dinner reservations for you in town.
Rates
Rates at Chalet Cygnet are per person per night based on 2 people sharing. Single occupancy rates are available on request. Rates are fully catered for weekly stays with breakfast, afternoon tea & cakes and dinner included (excl. lunch) and b & b for shorter stays. The chalet sleeps from 1 to 8 persons. All rates include a healthy mountain breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and an aperitif on arrival (if you stay 4 nights or more) and transfer to & from resort to Sion train station (min. 2 night stay).
*During December, Rates of CHF 1925 apply for a 10 day period for arrivals on the 23 December and 30 December. **For 7 night stays, rates also include 3-course (summer) or 4-course (winter) dinners for 6 nights including beer and wine. Dinner is also available on the 7th night for an extra charge on request. Children's supper also provided if required (on a weekly stay, 6 nights).

Cancellation policy
Cancellations made more than 56 days prior to arrival will be refunded 75% of the total cost. 56-29 days and 50% will be refunded. 28-15 days and 20% will be refunded. 14-0 days, no shows and early departures, 0% will be refunded.
