Multi Award-winning Hotel Villa Ducale and one of Lulu's favourite Chic Retreats enjoys one of the best positions in Taormina, Sicily immersed in nature between the sea and Etna. Hotel Villa Ducale is a small luxury hotel in an original aristocratic Sicilian villa with views of Etna on one side and crystal blue waters on the other. The interiors of this boutique hotel are authentic and the materials that have been used are true to its origin; wrought iron, painted ceramics and terracotta, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Accommodation

It comes as no surprise that the 11 roomsand 6 suites at Villa Ducale ooze charm and authenticity. They have all been decorated using Sicilian traditions and materials whilst still allowing guests to enjoy Satellite TV and air-conditioning. Many of the en-suite bathrooms are new and feature large Jacuzzi tubs or power showers. All rooms without exception have private terraces with spectacular views of the sea and Etna. Complimentary Satellite TV and WIFI are available throughout all of the rooms and suites.

Activities

Taormina, with its Greek Theatre and Arab buildings is not the only town to visit. Not far from Villa Ducale guests can enjoy Castelmola, an ancient Medieval village, enchanting Isolabella and Etna which not only offers an exhilirating climb of the volcano but also some great restaurants. Guests wanting to stay closer to home can enjoy the Jacuzzi in the mediterranean garden and there is a complimentary shuttle service to the beach as well as the centre of the town.

Breakfast at Hotel Villa Ducale is served on the terrace which boasts stunning views across the sea and the garden.
