About this Chic Retreat
Casa Talia is a small Chic Retreat with just 6 rooms situated in Modica, the ancient city of 100 bells and 100 churches. Modica can be found in South East Sicily and is a magical place that charms visitors with its culture, food and architecture. Slowliving is what drives Casa Talia allowing guests to relax, lose track of time and to really enjoy their stay at their leisure. This little jewel is the perfect hideaway for those looking to escape for a few days whilst savouring the landscape, delicious local food and enticing culture.
Accommodation
Casa Talia is a collection of small houses, restored using traditional Sicilian materials and methods, which surround the pretty mediterranean garden. The 6 rooms each have their own private terrace with views across the historical centre of Modica. Many of them feature colourful, authentic Sicilian floor tiles. Each enjoy their own private garden entrance allowing guests to come and go as they please.
Activities
Whilst staying at Casa Talia do visit the splendid Cathedral of San Giorgio which is one of the most important religious monuments of Sicily. The city is also renowned for its culinary delights with a tantalising variety of seasonal dishes that follow the different Sicilian traditions. Chocolate lovers will be in heaven here as one of Modica's most famous culinary claim to fame is its chocolate and the different textures and flavours produced. Sicily enjoys sunshine throughout most of the year (except January to March) and with some wonderful deserted beaches close by a walk along the seashore is a must.
Dining
The simple yet exquisite breakfast is served in the dining room or under the shade of the olive trees in the garden.

Rates at Casa Talia are per room per night and include breakfast. Extra bed is 30 EUR. Children under 3 are free.
