About this Chic Retreat

Ilha de Toque Toque is the only hotel or pousada in a 6km radius with stunning views across the sea. Fisherman can be seen drawing in their nets from their little boats on the water on the nearby beach and there are two beaches accessible by foot only 150 yards from the hotel. Environment preservation is a strong characteristic of this little gem; the water is mainly heated by solar power and 100% of the water is captured from a water fall and treated at the hotel. Reclaimed wood is used wherever possible and eco bricks have been used when needed. Rarely will you find owners so passionate and consumed with a project. For Edson and Renata this is their life, not just a way of living. They are involved in every single detail of the hotel and between them speak English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian ensuring that guests from all over the world can be made to feel very welcome. Edson has drawn his experience from his travels to over 35 different countries worldwide. They have a young daughter and children are made very welcome.

Accommodation

Each of the simple, but charming rooms have views of the ocean and a hammock on their decked balcony. The rooms are equipped with fans, minibar & satellite TV.

Activities

From the pousada there are trails that guests can take to the beach or to the rocks where guests can fish, dive or snorkel. The hotel has a lovely pool, beyond which is the ocean. There is also a whirlpool and a wet sauna bar where delicious 'caipirinha de pitanga' are served in abundance! Trekking and mountain biking can also be arranged.

Dining

Breakfast can be served wherever you like and lunch and dinner are usually served on the restaurant deck with sea views.

Rates

Rates at Ilha de Toque Toque are per room per night. Published rates are not valid during Brazilian public holidays, including without limitation, Easter, Christmas, New Year, Carnival, Tiradentes and Independence Day, among others. Also, there is a minimum stay requirement on these periods. At weekends there is a minimum of 2 night stays. There is an additional charge of 30% per extra person. One CHD free per room (5 year old).
